「看到了，看到了！土星的草帽，越來越清楚了！」11月24日，在位於深圳市大鵬新區南澳辦事處西涌社區的深圳市天文台自助觀測區，來自拉脫維亞的「中國通」安澤通過20.3厘米口徑望遠鏡看到夜空中美麗的土星，高興得像個孩子。

　"I see it, I see it! Saturn's rings, they're getting clearer!" On November 24th, at the self-service observation area of the Shenzhen Observatory located in Xichong, Dapeng, Shenzhen, Anzelika Smirnova, a "China expert" from Latvia, was overjoyed like a child after seeing the beautiful Saturn in the night sky through a 20.3cm aperture telescope.

　安澤對星空的熱愛，源於兒時。她的父親是一位天文愛好者，常常帶安澤觀星賞月。但自17年前移居到中國後，她已經很久沒有這樣仰望星空了。「今天看到這麼美的夜空，我感覺又震撼，又浪漫。」

　Smirnova's love for the stars stems from her childhood. Her father, an astronomy enthusiast, often took her stargazing. But since moving to China 17 years ago, she had rarely had the chance to gaze at the stars so intently. "Seeing such a beautiful night sky today feels both awe-inspiring and romantic," she said.

　11月24日至28日，中國氣象局氣象宣傳與科普中心（中國氣象報社）聯合中國外文局文化傳播中心、廣東省氣象局共同組織「高質量發展中國行•外國大V看氣象」活動走進粵港澳大灣區，首站便來到了深圳西涌國際暗夜社區，安澤和駱紀（西班牙）等4位外國友人有了在深圳這樣超大城市觀看繁星的機會。

　From November 24th to 28th, the "Vlog China, Feel Meteorology" event, organized by the China Meteorological Administration Meteorological Communication Center (China Meteorological News) in collaboration with the China Foreign Languages Administration Center for Cultural Communication and the Guangdong Provincial Meteorological Bureau, entered the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. Its first stop was the Shenzhen Xichong International Dark Sky Community. This provided Anzelika Smirnova, Álvaro Lorite (from Spain), and two other foreign influencers with a precious opportunity to observe a starry sky within a megacity like Shenzhen.

　西涌位於深圳大鵬半島最南端，距市中心差不多60公里，是天文觀測的理想之地。2010年9月建成啟用的深圳市天文台，就聳立在西涌社區東側崖頭頂，三面環山、一面靠海，也是社區觀星的核心區域。

　Xichong is situated in Nan』ao Subdistrict, Dapeng New District, the easternmost part of Shenzhen, approximately 60 kilometers from the city center, making it an ideal location for astronomical observation. The Shenzhen Observatory, which commenced operations in September 2010, stands atop Yatouding on the eastern side of the Xichong community, surrounded by mountains on three sides and facing the sea on the fourth, forming the core area for stargazing.

　在山腳下，路燈顯著與他處不同：黃色的燈光不僅更柔和，而且更加聚焦，不會散射到遠處。在社區里，各式招牌的色溫也更低，接近黃昏時分的光線。

　At the foot of the mountain, the streetlights are noticeably different: their yellow light is not only softer but also more focused, minimizing scatter. Within the community, the color temperature of various signs is also lower, resembling the light at dusk.

　「2021年，我們發起暗夜社區的建設目標後，許多商家與我們一道參與到這一行動中來」， 深圳市國家氣候觀象台（深圳市天文台）天文部部長梅林介紹，通過照明設施科學改造減少光污染等一系列措施後，西涌於2023年獲暗夜國際認證，成為我國首個、亞洲第二個「國際暗夜社區」。

　"After we set the goal of building a dark sky community in 2021, many local businesses joined us in this initiative," explained Mei Lin, Head of the Astronomy Department at the Shenzhen National Climate Observatory (Shenzhen Observatory). Through a series of measures, including scientifically retrofitting lighting facilities to reduce light pollution, Xichong received International Dark Sky Community certification in 2023, becoming the first in China and the second in Asia.

　暗夜國際暗夜地項目專員安柏·哈里森表示：「西涌國際暗夜社區證明，通過精心設計的照明方案，完全可以創造一個既安全又有益於社區、同時保護自然世界的夜間環境。西涌暗夜社區將人與自然聯結在一起，為其他地區樹立了榜樣。」

　「The Xichong International Dark Sky Community demonstrates that creating a safe, nocturnal environment that benefits the community and protects the natural world using thoughtful lighting design is possible. The Xichong Dark Sky Community brings people and nature together and sets an example for others to follow,」 remarked Amber Harrison, DarkSky International’s Dark Sky Places Program Associate.

　綠水青山就是金山銀山。成為國際暗夜社區的西涌夜空更「暗」了，經濟發展卻更「亮」了。當梅林向外國友人介紹，暗夜社區建成後，螢火蟲活躍天數由2022年的35天增加到2024年的110天，同時年均吸引超200萬遊客觀光遊覽，為當地提供200多個就業崗位，引資規模逾億元時，大家紛紛點頭稱讚。

　Clear waters and lush mountains are as valuable as gold and silver. As an International Dark Sky Community, Xichong's night sky has become "darker," yet its development has grown "brighter." When Mei Lin shared with the foreign guests that since the community's establishment, the annual active days for fireflies had increased from 35 days in 2022 to 110 days in 2024, while simultaneously attracting over 2 million tourists annually, creating more than 200 local jobs, and bringing in investment exceeding 100 million yuan, everyone was deeply impressed.

　「深圳在環境保護與城市發展間做到了平衡。」安澤說。

　"The economy is important, but protecting the starry sky is also crucial," said Álvaro Lorite. "Shenzhen has found a balance between environmental protection and urban development," added Anzelika Smirnova.

　梅林介紹，深圳正在研究為暗夜保護立法的可能，這將助推西涌建成大灣區「1小時星空銀河圈」，成為生態文明、城鄉發展的典範，為全球光污染治理貢獻深圳經驗。

　Mei Lin also mentioned that Shenzhen is exploring the possibility of introducing legislation for dark sky protection. This effort will help position Xichong as the core of a "1-hour Starry Sky and Milky Way Circle" within the Greater Bay Area, establishing it as a model for ecological civilization and urban-rural development, and contributing Shenzhen's experience to the global effort in managing light pollution.
